Biden’s White House re-joining the UNHRC as observers.
The US, it must be said, has a tumultuous relationship with the UNHRC, or UN Human Rights Council. Under George W Bush, the country claiming to be so exceptional and the leader of the Free World left in a puff mostly because of the lack of support for the Iraq War. Of course, the war was based upon CIA lies regarding non-existent weapons of mass destruction. The lies and failures caused between 500,000 and a million souls dead and the US troops are still not home having lost the war months after taking Baghdad. And no, Saddam Hussein was never going to invade the US homeland and had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11. It was pure US warmongering for which the Nazi leaders were executed at Nuremberg in 1946. There is no excuse in law.
It was only during the Obama Administration that the US formally re-joined the UN Human Rights Council. Now you may ask what this council is. Simply, it is “the key international platform for cooperation in the sphere of human rights and is designed to cater to the interests of all the member-states, not to that of one country or a group of countries.” It consists of a 47-member panel and yes, China and the rest are there and yes, they are critical of Israel on human rights issues. In 2011, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton accused the UN agency of a "structural bias against the Jewish state."
In June 2018, the US once again withdrew from the UNHRC: “The US is officially withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council. It is a hypocritical and self-serving organization that makes a mockery of human rights. American participation is the last shred of credibility the council has. That is precisely why we must leave.” Nikki Haley, then US ambassador to the United Nations, shrieking.
“The Human Rights Council is a poor defender of human rights. Worse than that, the Human Rights Council has become an exercise in shameless hypocrisy - with many of the world’s worst human rights abuses going ignored and some of the world’s most serious offenders sitting on the council itself. A mere look around the world today demonstrates that the council has failed in its stated objectives. Its membership includes authoritarian governments with unambiguous and abhorrent human rights records, such as China, Cuba and Venezuela.” Then US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, dwarfing Mrs Haley who is not a tiny woman, to begin with.
He had a lot more to say, Mike Pompeo, the obese fellow that started the “exceptional” comments in my books but that was the gist of it. He is also one that is telling the world that the CIA, when he was the Director, lied and cheated to make America exceptional as an experiment or something. Now spies do that to other spies, but is there a need to say it? To confirm it in public and then laugh like a demented donkey? I ask, do they also lie to their own? Yes, they do. In later years, it came out or was at least said and not denied, that the CIA had to show Donald J Trump pictures of dead geese and sick kids during the Skripal Poisoning false flag operation conducted by I think MI6 and Ukrainian Intelligence. It was only thereafter that he agreed to expel 60 Russian diplomats in revenge and all done on the UK’s word that the poisoning actually happened. Of course, it was fake evidence also known as lies. No child was injured and no animals died, and no one ever claimed in the UK that any did. Never happened. Yet, the CIA briefer lied to a President, if true, and thus a major international incident took place. You can read in the Intelligence Briefing what else came out in the Skripal Hoax. It is shameful how the games are played by those that ought to know better.
The Jewish State and just about ONLY Israel via Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Twitter account supported the US withdrawal from the UNHRC: “Israel thanks President Trump, Secretary Pompeo and Ambassador Haley for their courageous decision against the hypocrisy and the lies of the so-called UN Human Rights Council. For years, the UNHRC has proven to be a biased, hostile, anti-Israel organization that has betrayed its mission of protecting human rights. Instead of dealing with regimes that systematically violate human rights, the UNHRC obsessively focuses on Israel, the one genuine democracy in the Middle East. The US decision to leave this prejudiced body is an unequivocal statement that enough is enough. Israel welcomes the American announcement.”
Okay, so, the tantrum moment gathered no support from most countries including all NATO members. Every one of them “regretted” the decision which is diplomatic language for shouting “what the f are you doing?” The Russian envoy had a sarcastic reply in response, “Apparently, the US wanted to turn the council into a complacent mechanism that would promote its interests and punish those who disagree.” The world cheered him and laughed derisively at the country once known as the Beacon of Freedom.
But this week the Biden Secretary of State, Blinken, announced that: “The United States will re-engage with the UN Human Rights Council as an observer.” And then came the usual Washington Swamp crap that you should dismiss as badly written propaganda, “The Biden administration has recommitted the United States to a foreign policy centred on democracy, human rights, and equality. Effective use of multilateral tools is an important element of that vision…” Ah yes but the US bombs are still dropping every 12 minutes somewhere and killing civilians, eh? You are still wasting money that you don't have on your mediocre military and you are still pushing for war with Russia, China, and Iran. “We recognise that the Human Rights Council is a flawed body, in need of reform to its agenda, membership, and focus, including its disproportionate focus on Israel…” Ah yes, but perhaps if Israel stops committing war crimes the UNHRC will stop bothering them as will the ICC (International Criminal Court – see VOICES – War Crimes USA, on that running battle). Perhaps even sanity can return.
According to Secretary Blinken, “The Trump administration's decision did nothing to encourage meaningful change, but instead created a vacuum of US leadership, which countries with authoritarian agendas have used to their advantage.” Eh, what leadership, you turned into a joke that even your friends are ashamed to be seen with. You cannot even run an election without outright fraud and massive interference by Social Media and Big Tech electing a new president from his basement. Man, you have no moral high ground left.
Nevertheless, “Observer status will allow the US to speak in the Council, participate in negotiations, and partner with others to introduce resolutions.” In other words, until next time that you throw a tantrum only to crawl back later, as you will.
It is fascinating that despite the antics and nonsense described above the US taxpayer keeps the UN going by paying every year as much as 183 other countries combined. Yes, and thus enabling it to carry on the way that it does, which is not commendable, to say the least. Anyone who read my books will know that I dislike the UN intensely and see it as an Occultic Organisation created by high ranking Freemasons (Roosevelt and Churchill) to serve as a new world order. So it stays odd, unless part of a bigger plan which I suspect is playing off right in front of our eyes these days, that the US supports the organisation that is so "nasty" to it… yeah, why is that? Why don't you act and withdraw your money, kick them out of New York and worry about your own economy and people? Yeah, I know why not, it is revealed in OATH OF EVIL - The War on Protestantism.
