CHRISTMAS, A BRIEF OCCULT HISTORY

Updated: Dec 25, 2020

An occult day which is anyway now being cancelled by those bowing to Rome.

Should you think that Christmas is a Christian festival, think again. It is a Pagan day that the Catholic Church brought into Christianity. 25 December has nothing to do with Jesus. He was not born on that day. In fact, we can deduce from the behaviour of the shepherds that He was born in summer, not winter. There is nothing Biblical about the day as they are celebrated right now, nothing. It should be avoided as a festive day in order not to drink the wine of Babylon. And so should the symbolism of Christmas.

The Christmas Tree is not innocent and came from ancient times where Nimrod was destroyed and symbolised as a tree trunk, cut off, from which sprouts will grow again. Mostly fir trees are used by occultists to celebrate the birth of the sun god. Santa Claus is as evil as they come and reflects to the birth of Osiris, the Egyptian sun god. It just happens to be so (sarcastic) that Osiris would ride through the heavens in his chariot as does Santa Claus. So would the Greek sun-god Helios and in Hindu culture, the Sûrya with his charioteer Aruna.

Santa Claus, you will be told, is named after Saint Nicholas. Historically this fellow never existed. The idea came directly from the Greek god Poseidon, the Roman god Neptune, and the Teutonic god Hold Nickar. He has the same attributes as God being virtually omnipresent. He is all-seeing and all-knowing, and he knows when they are bad and good. He judges according to behaviour of the child and he is eternal, forever. Worse, he is called “Father.” And the Bible says, call no one “Father” (hello priests, you are not my father and never will be).

Such is the deceit that we find under Christians today. But let us wish everyone a Merry Christmas is the spirit it is meant to be. Ellen G White shared some wisdom on this for us to follow:

“Although we do not know the exact day of Christ’s birth, we would honor the sacred event. May the Lord forbid that any one should be so narrow minded as to overlook the event because there is an uncertainty in regard to the exact time. Let us do what we can to fasten the minds of the children upon those things which are precious to everyone who loves Jesus. Let us teach them how to (sic) Jesus came into the world to bring hope, comfort, peace, and happiness to all… Let the hearts of all respond with exceeding joy for the priceless gift of the Son of God.” –The Review and Herald, Dec 17, 1889.

“Brethren and sisters, while you are devising gifts for one another, I would remind you of our heavenly Friend, lest you should be unmindful of His claims. Will He not be pleased if we show that we have not forgotten Him? Jesus, the Prince of life, gave all to bring salvation within our reach…. He suffered even unto death, that He might give us eternal life. It is through Christ that we receive every blessing…. Shall not our heavenly Benefactor share in the tokens of our gratitude and love? Come, brethren and sisters, come with your children, even the babes in your arms, and bring your offerings to God according to your ability. Make melody to Him in your hearts, and let His praise be upon your lips.” AH 480

In the above spirit then, A Merry Christmas to all of you. GMJ
