It seems to be that the lack of historical knowledge among British politicians is reaching new disgusting levels. Recently, British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt, assured the Hong Kong rioters that “the UK would stand behind the people of Hong Kong in defense of their freedoms” amid protests over a controversial extradition law with China. Beijing was annoyed, calling Hunt “shameless” and reminded him of the time when Hong Kong was ruled by an unelected British Governor.
Yes, that brought a few memories to me. For anyone that read my books before, I don’t need to repeat that the British Army started the concentration camp concept. They have a dreadfully shameful legacy and not one that I will ever forget to highlight in every book I wrote or will write in the future. Afrikaners have every reason to be angry about the consequences of the camps as we lost a third of our women and children. Go online and see the skeleton figures of departed children that would be seen again at places like Belsen in later years and marvel at the lack of an apology. Those children that survived the camps and war would be flogged mercilessly at school by the newly arrived English teachers, male and female, if they spoke Dutch or Afrikaans, even during breaks. Everything became English overnight including the legal system that changed in many ways. It is as good as forcing you to suddenly switch to Chinese after murdering one out of every three of your women and kids, all non-combatants carted off to concentration camps. Yet, I speak of experience here, when the average American or Englishman is asked about the Anglo-Boer War war crimes, he has no idea and thinks that you are lying. After all, the British Army will never do such things, lol. That is how far removed history became from reality to protect reputations. Be it known, for us it is not possible to forget and forgive, not unless apologized for as the Holy Bible demands but I dealt with this aspect in Code Name VET 101. It is the great difference between the Jewish Holocaust and ours, Germany tried many times to make reparations, the Brits did nothing. There is no way that the apologists will get past me on this topic, end of story. But what did the West do to China?
Let us look at what came out in Code Name Unbutton, a book that warns that the US Navy so-called drone ships are under Chinese control: The Chinese have a very old civilization, much more than the US or Western Europe, and they were humiliated by the Colonial Powers causing the Opium Wars. Don’t think that they forget insults and don’t think that as far as they are concerned anyone not Chinese is of a lesser humanity. In China, the period between 1839 and 1939 is referred to as the “Century of Humiliation,” they are not wrong. Most reading here will know that we expect China to overtake the US economy by 2030 but in 1820, China's economy was the largest in the world for hundreds of years. This is according to respected British economist Angus Maddison (6 December 1926 - 24 April 2010, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Groningen, Angelique). His views are not challenged by anyone. After the two Opium Wars, China was broken, the GDP halved and conquered by unscrupulous empire builders. You may say that the Opium Wars were only about money, greed, and nothing else. The British Empire wanted to trade, the Qing Dynasty did not wish to trade in opium and were forced by the bayonet to open the markets at vastly disadvantageous terms. To do so, an opioid crisis was created by the Brits. When you see the opioid crisis today in the US you must smile cynically, history repeats, but the first one was deliberate to destabilise a country. They wanted to sell their crap, opium, to the Chinese, a huge market. This was done by the British East India Company. By 1787, the British were smuggling 4,000 chests in, each one weighing 170 lbs. The Chinese Emperor tried to stop the disease that comes with addiction, laws were enabled in 1729, 1799, 1814 and 1831 to no avail. Anything between 4-12 million Chinese became addicts. Since opium was illegal, the Chinese Government seized 20,000 chests or 1,300 tons of opium, without compensation to the British traders, that started the two Opium Wars. Disgusting beyond belief, this is as good as a country is forced to allow ecstasy or heroin inside its borders by another, just unbelievable. Of course, fortunes were made and that is all what there is to it. Obviously, the human misery caused did not count for much. (American opium traders included ancestors of US President FD Roosevelt as well as those of former US Secretary of State John Forbes Kerry. Jesuits were behind it – Code Name Masemole 26, Angelique.)
The Treaty of Nanking, 1842, ceded Hong Kong to the UK and created Shanghai, Canton, Ningpo (Ningbo), Foochow (Fuzhou), and Amoy as treaty ports for trade. France got the same concessions in 1843 and 1844. By the turn of the century all the major powers including America and Russia had treaty ports, about 80 of them. They were raping China, exploiting her in the grossest way possible. Today, all Western Corporations would give anything and bribe anyone to gain a foothold in China. Google went as far as changing its search engine to suit Chinese repression of free speech, with that went their celebrated slogan of “Don’t be evil.” Facebook tried hard to get in, founder Zuckerberg even speaking Chinese, but to no avail. That is the power of the Chinese market. It is vast beyond anything ever seen before. The difference is that the trading is now done on Chinese terms, not the West’s. They have taken command of their destiny. You ignore them at your own peril.
