I find it amusing to read comments below articles printed in patriotic magazines/websites and news outlets. One in particular is the myth of the US Navy being all dominating. Apparently, an aircraft carrier group only has to arrive at the conflict to win whatever battle there is to fight. The other theory is that no one would be stupid enough to attack and sink a US carrier because of the consequences when doing so - outright war if successful or even if not. The theory is that all future wars will be limited in scope and far away from the US mainland which last felt conflict in 1865 when the Civil War ended. Okay, so tell me, why would a terrorist organization then want a nuclear bomb to detonate right inside New York or any other US territory? Maximum casualties and political embarrassment. Remember please that for a terrorist it does not matter that the target is civilian or not. He has no sympathy. He only needs to think of the thousands, nay, tens of thousands of civilians killed in the last 20 years by the US Military with indiscriminate bombing campaigns. The principle of MAD, Mutual Assured Destruction, does not apply to terrorists. They simply don’t care if nuked in return – something which will anyway probably not happen but if it happens, so what? That is their outlook. The more martyrs the better for their cause. So, what about sinking a carrier and or the entire carrier group? It is beyond foolish to think it will never happen because of the “consequences.” In a time of war, the US carriers will be attacked mercilessly and not only them but also their supply lines that are so vulnerable that it is laughaby easy to cut. Without ordnance, the missiles, bombs, ammunition and jet fuel above all, a carrier is nothing but a floating target without any offensive capability. And it takes 4 days (perhaps 14, depending on the sortie rate) for a US carrier to run out of ordnance as well as jet fuel for its air wing. After that, well, let us hope that we never find out but we probably will. It is bound to happen in the future.
In history, an upcoming nation always defeated the old existing empire to replace it. Rome was replaced. Spain was replaced. The British Empire too, and now it is the turn of the “Great Satan” as radical Muslims call the USA. The upcoming nation, China, building more warships a year than the rest of the world together. Those that will help her or at least be very sympathetic, the BRICS countries, Russia, Brazil, India and South Africa. I don’t have time to explain the BRICS strategic alliance again, it is in my books for those interested in understanding how the US is already surrounded. Enough to say that not one US carrier dares to come too close to China in peacetime and during wartime, I doubt that they will survive the missile shield that the Chinese built the last ten years. They will be sunk. I have a great many reasons saying so but will highlight one. Astonishingly, I am often surprised what my research shows me, the US Navy has an old antiquated and outranged CWIS system shooting a 20mm caliber shell, the last line of defense to defeat an incoming missile. Read Code Name Unbutton for a comparative history on CWIS systems and weep if from a NATO country – you just don’t have what it takes anymore. You lack in almost every single important military technology but that too I have warned enough about in American Military Might – Debunked, a 700-page book that was flatly ignored by Western mainstream media for obvious reasons. Are my writings really fiction? Do I warn just because I have nothing else to do? Let me quote more famous people:
“If there is a sin superior to every other, it is that of willful and offensive war ... he who is the author of a war, lets loose the whole contagion of Hell, and opens a vein that bleeds a nation to death. All countries have sooner or later been called to their reckoning; the proudest empires have sunk when the balance was struck; and Britain, like an individual penitent, must undergo her day of sorrow, and the sooner it happens to her the better.” Thomas Paine, Common Sense, January 10, 1776
“In the West you have the notion that if somebody hits you on the left cheek, you turn the other cheek. In our culture we punch back...” Chinese president Xi Jinping, he was talking on Donald J Trump’s trade war with the world but he meant more than that. Later, on 29 October 2018, to his top military commanders... “Prepare for war.”
“The United States has lost its military advantage to such a degree that it could potentially lose a future war with Russia or China. The US military could suffer unacceptably high casualties and loss of major capital assets in its next conflict. It might struggle to win, or perhaps lose, a war against China or Russia...” National Defence Strategy Commission to the US Congress, 14 November 2018
In Code Name Blue Tang I stated flatly that NATO would have lost an air war against the Warsaw Pact during the 1980s because of stolen South African technology, the Kukri helmet lookdown/shootdown system. I went further and showed that historically the Soviet SRAM (Short Range Air to Air Missiles) were so much better (tested with former East German Air Force assistance) that the Germans (with European help) built their own, the IRIS-T. They realised how badly the US-made Sidewinder etc. would have fared. Then came the South African Denel Darter V3E that is rated as the best SRAM in the world. You can now add medium and soon longer range BVR Darters to the above. I also said that US military pilots don’t fly enough to be effective. They fly in two years what some Chinese fighter jocks fly in a month. Of course, most just would not believe the research. In Code Name Jen I had the sad responsibility to reveal that the Top Gun/Red Flag exercises were “modified” to reflect better towards the US side. In fact, they were cheating the scores because they just could not face the truth – that they would lose in a dogfight scenario. That is called fraud in other places and would not have helped the aviator in real combat. Such is the Pentagon lies that the public must live with. About the idiotic F-35 “Stealth it is Not” I don’t even want to warn about anymore. Stupid is as stupid does. I have yet to meet an “enemy” fighter pilot that fears it.
So image my smile this morning when I read: “The (US) Navy’s training requirements for the F/A-18 Super Hornet dictate that each 12-plane fleet squadron shoot a total of four missiles -- two AIM-9 infrared-guided missiles and two AIM-120 radar-guided missile -- before a deployment. Current Navy strike-fighter squadrons do not fire enough air-to-air missiles, and their training mission profiles are too fragmented between air-to-air, air-to-ground and other mission areas. In a future conflict with China or Russia, as in the past, naval aviators should expect these deficiencies to yield combat losses unless they are mitigated in peacetime. Firing an air-to-air missile in training is a rare event. It requires weeks or months of planning, occasional squadron detachments to other airfields and the right combination of training range availability, support assets, logistics and more. Many aviators go their entire career without firing a missile. Those who do typically get just one opportunity. Current FA-18 student aviators fire no air-to-air missiles during their training, perhaps due to the expense and complexity of doing so. Fleet squadrons are only assured of shooting the mandated four missiles per two-year cycle.” Navy officer Graham Scarbro - at War on the Rocks to whom copyright is credited. He further states: “Naval aviators should specialize in either air-to-air or air-to-ground missions. The temptation to do both should be avoided, as it will lead pilots to becoming a jack of all trades, masters of none. … Creating two Super Hornet training matrices, one with an air-to-air focus and one tilted towards air-to-ground, would allow the Navy to develop more focused aviators.”
Okay, to me all that means is you will be shot down in droves and lose air superiority. Without that, you cannot win and your carriers also will be sunk. Your supply lines will be cut and your army will surrender soon after or be wiped out. This proves to me that despite the hype and money wasted that your training is close to pathetic and unrealistic in the extreme. This reminds me of the 400 plus airframes lost in Afghanistan and Iraq by the Coalition Forces (mostly US) because they cannot land in dusty conditions. Yes, pathetic training and low standards. The shocking airframe losses came out in Code Name Halloween 38 where I warned on what is really happening.
So let us assume that the US carriers are sunk, the supply lines are cut and now you face Chinese carrier groups hovering around your coasts launching strikes on you. In Code Name Unbutton I looked at the scenario of a Chinese ground invasion of the USA. Granted, with the nuclear umbrellas in place, that is not likely, but we need to plan for worst case scenarios even if only to amuse ourselves. The other armchair ninja theory of fighting the Chinese Army is just so much nonsense. The likelihood of a militia being able to stop a professional army is less than zero. Even Winston S Churchill said, “Wars are not won by militias.” Well, I am sure that the US War of Independence can be argued in this regard but that is for another day since the fighting was conventional. Right now, here, no way. A fat ass civilian with his AR-15 will not stop a tank or any kind of armour, forget it. In such a scenario the US factories, dockyards, and munition depots will be attacked by missiles and probably destroyed. There will be civilian deaths, many. Unlike China and Russia, the US does not have much of a missile defense system because the White House (and Pentagon liars) know that there are two great oceans surrounding them, who will get to them? Ah, yes, but that scenario ends with the US carriers on the bottom of the ocean. Perhaps you will now understand why the US Navy is so crucial for your existence. Without it, you can wave your empire goodbye. You might even be invaded, bombed, subjected to superior force and guess what else, few will shed tears when that happens. I often wonder, what the hell went wrong with you?
