The Suppression of GMJ Books
I am pretty easy going but when a company tries to suppress my books, and refuse to give reasons, I react as would everyone else, I suppose - see my blog http://www.georgemjames.com/gmj-blog/put-god-first-and-see-what-happens-the-immediate-suppression-of-your-books. You can also listen to my video on this subject. Thus, from Code Name Angelique, we are moving some of the print versions away from CreateSpace, the Amazon Company, to Lulu.com. Because it is a smaller company, the books will be more expensive but at least, and this is important, they have not tried to ban or suppress my books and it makes no difference to my royalty fees. This will be a gradual process and my previous comments stand - as an author, I am not a great fan of paper books. They are expensive and carry great financial risk to me if they don’t sell since I must carry the costs of printing them. Therefore, I have always flatly refused all "offers” from publishing houses to print them on my behalf and will keep on doing so in the future. I am not interested in silly publishing contracts that are so one sided that you must be insane or desperate to sign them. GMJ books thus are not in your local bookstore, you can order them online in print – click on the book cover you want in paper and it will take you to the download link where you need to follow the instructions. How it works is what is known as “print on demand” and the printing is done by CreateSpace or Lulu.com. You order your book via them (vastly more expensive than the e-publishing copies but in line with other books of that genre) and it is printed and delivered to you a few days later. Note please, you also pay for the delivery costs so be sure to reckon that into your calculations (they will tell you how much). I cannot do this in South Africa, there simply is no such print-on-demand printers locally available yet.

We don’t do boring and we count success by results, not money wasted or tons of bombs dropped, we want to win at any cost payable by the enemy.Price is what you pay, value is what you gain in knowledge."
