It is Easter weekend, a time for church and reflection, the first off-time since Christmas I suppose. We saw a rise of “churches” in South Africa in the last 20 years or so. Every second fellow you meet is now a “pastor” and has a “church” to make money from to fund his lifestyle. That is their prerogative. It is mine to study how they go about it. In a recent GMJ Book, Code Name Oath 19, I wrote down what I observed, agree with me, or disagree, this is my view:
… I studied psychological warfare in great detail and conducted such operations with Angelique and Geelslang successfully in the past (see Code Name Halloween 38 and Code Name Anika). When you see a man performing like a circus ape and you have my kind of knowledge on such matters, you study his technique automatically. Next time you sit in church and the “pastor” starts shouting, recall please all the newsreels you saw of Adolf Hitler using precisely the same techniques to get the admiring crowd to his way of thinking. Observe, please, how spellbound the widow up front watches this “pastor,” waving her arms and shouting “Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!” after him and hang your head in shame as this is not what God desires, it is unbiblical. Where in the Holy Book have you seen such behaviour? Observe how his voice tone changes, ignore the actual words, listen to the sound going up and down and recall what you saw of Hitler then shrieking and then talking normally and know that when you are an experienced public speaker, as I am, you speak softer to get attention to you. The audience must now listen more carefully to hear your words since you are harder to hear (this is also a hostage negotiator tactic, see Code Name Wrangler, Angelique). However, the circus ape masquerading as a prophet is doing the opposite and you must ask yourself, why? What is happening in front of your church every Sunday morning? I may have the answer if you care to read on.
Let us look at the patterns first, as is our way. They use well known and proven indoctrination techniques to get you into the “mood” by shouting “I cannot hear you! Hallelujah! Jesus! Jesus! Amen! Amen! I cannot hear you!” and then wait for you to follow the lead as if you are a dumb sheep, shouting back the words even louder (you are a sheep in their eyes, no respect, Angelique). If you served in any military and reading my books, you are welcome, remind yourself of basic training, yes, same technique as was used at the drill parade by the drill sergeants, why? Indoctrination and nothing else, it works, it creates the mood and it is damn dangerous when used in a house of God which should be a peaceful place. Jesus is not known as the Prince of Peace for nothing. Such indoctrination methods should give you shivers of fright and you should walk away immediately from such a “pastor, preacher, prophet and or evangelist” or whatever he calls himself. What is more, what I saw often, is that during the state of heightened awareness, the “blessing baskets” come around to pay for his business and new four-wheel drive vehicle to do “outreach” with in Africa (a nice paid holiday in exotic places, Angelique). It is not a church as the apostles would know it and that is Geelslang’s, all of us in fact, problem with such places and the reason he was talking about it.
We don’t have a problem with church goers waving their arms and dancing around, we read of King David doing the same and we know the words he had with his first wife, the daughter of King Saul about it, she was in the wrong. I saw men and women weeping with joy when the Holy Ghost grabbed them, no problem. Speaking in tongues, no problem but subject to what the Apostle Paul said in the good books of Corinthians and Acts, to be interpreted by someone close by. We don’t even mind even if you are dressed casually as long as the women’s chests are not hanging out to be a distraction to the men around them. What we do want and demand above all, is respect towards God and that does not include treating Him as if dumb, deaf and extremely far away. By definition, He should be inside your heart, close to you. I just cannot see the need for shouting and Hitler strategies. We see church as relatively small groups of people talking about God, the classic early church we read about in the Bible, the house church as it is called today. In no way will Geelslang preach down to his brethren. He talks and asks questions, discussing and debating and that makes for an extremely interesting experience, you are involved. Once you have come to Jesus, to use the language of the day, you would want to know more, hence you want to learn more. Tell me, what do you learn by watching the clown in front of you roaring away at God whilst blocking your ears to the overly loud sounds screeching from the loudspeakers? What do you think the apostles would think or even Jesus himself at such antics if they were sitting next to you right then? I know the answer, you figure it out for yourself. It is an embarrassment to God, an empty show designed to scam you for your money.
Another thing that I find hilarious is the liberal question we so often find at demonstrations, especially the gay & lesbian community likes this: “What will Jesus do?” It is the typical “Let me make you feel guilty technique” and based on an entirely wrong idea of forgiveness from God. Forgiveness means to stop your crap and stop sinning because you are genuinely sorry for you mistakes. Carry on sinning and see what happens when God sentences you to hell in the near future. I can tell them what Jesus will do if faced with such clowns in church, the roaring brigade, He will turn away in disgust and make a whip to clear them out as He did before. The last man that got upset and disobeyed God, Moses, by hitting at a rock instead of touching it with his rod, as told to do, paid a terrible price for his arrogance. He never entered the promised land, his greatest wish on earth was flatly denied, don’t annoy God and not expect a reaction, He is not a liberal snowflake drawing lines in the sand.
Then there is another point which these “pastors’ just don’t get because they have zero real life experience outside their business of crookery and shame. Readers of GMJ Books will know about Angelique’s diminutive female agent, the one that we call Lucy the Lunatic (see Code Name Green 41 and Code Name Celery 50) and that I repeatedly told you her story is real and that she needs your prayers, always, please remember Lucy when you pray. She dragged us to a church one day, there being some “prophet” there she wished to experience and the guy started his Hitler impression (he was as much a prophet as I am one, Angelique). Lucy got more and more worked up until we led her to safety and away to some park benches where she lay for the next hour or two. I asked her: “Lucy what ails you?” She said that the shouting reminded her of her time when captured and her body reacted badly, she went into a PNES coma shortly after. (It is a type of seizure that looks like an epileptic seizure, the symptoms are very much the same except for a few important details only a trained eye can spot. The specialists call it Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures (PNES) and it is more common than what you may think, as common as is multiple sclerosis. It is not caused by abnormal brain electrical discharges as is normal epileptic seizures but by psychological distress. After Lucy was abused most horribly, she started suffering from this condition and although her trigger was indeed distressing, research shows that any genuine traumatic event, such as physical or sexual abuse, incest, divorce and death of a loved one can trigger it. There is an 80% chance of recovery, the good news and that takes a lot of love, patience and understanding from the nearest family, the husband or wife of the patient. The symptoms are rather frightening to those watching, the patient will have convulsions combined with falling down and shaking and not respond to any voice commands, the patient will be unconscious.)
Lucy, I am sad to say, did not get that type of love at first and only rejection. Her then husband told her to sort herself out, that she was an embarrassment to him, others kept away from her, not knowing how to deal with it and probably not in the mood either. So she struggled on, fighting all the way as is her way. In later years it got better and her poetry helped immensely, it gave her a reason to live, I suppose. She also stated more than once, speaking softly, that she once saw Jesus weeping in church because of the lack of interest in what is important or should be, the saving of souls and I for one believe every word she testified. I was not surprised over her reaction, all would have flashed back and she would have reacted predictably. Now I guarantee you, should I have grabbed that “prophet” and I came close to doing so, and tell him what harm he is causing to abused women used to being shouted at when home, he will look at me like the dumb animal he is, not understanding. His way is the same old same, to repeatedly shout slogans “Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!” and then “I cannot hear you! Hallelujah!” and so it went on. How can such a person even begin to claim to know God? It is disgusting to me, disgusting! Do you shout and roar at your dad to honour him? Surely not, then how come you do that to your heavenly Father?... (Taken from Code Name Oath 19)
The GMJ Books are not written to please anyone or any specific group although they are classified as “conservative.” I don’t care much for politicians either, we call them the “turd brigade” in our books, they “float in what they talk.” If you wish to read “politically correct Hollywood” stories, don’t read GMJ, you will get upset. If you wish to read military history few heard about, romance, technically 100% correct books, thought-provoking warnings, read GMJ.
