Taking the Mickey out of liberals is what we do best in GMJ Books, it is all fun and games and a sense of humour is needed in life but from their response I am sure that they lost whatever sense of humour they may have had, permanently on November 8, 2016. The other day a reader asked, I suspect she was a liberal before she met me, why I cannot just write about my wife and soul, Angelique, and leave political statements alone. The answer is simple, the GMJ Books are written to bring a message to you. They are read widely, in many countries and especially the Far East even if illegitimately so. My views may not be always politically correct but they are accurate – I explain and bring views to you that is not likely to be known widely because you are not in my world or from my world. I often warn what in the GMJ Books what damage “perception” are causing to America’s image abroad. Nothing happens in isolation anymore, the biggest problem the mainstream media faces today – they are exposed and no man or woman like being exposed. Thus, it is important to note down the hysteria and ill-advised comments from the leftist mainstreamers, their views should be kept on record, there is no “right to forget.”
Like millions of others, I too enjoyed the now notorious news conference of February 16, 2017, the one that would no doubt become famous as the one where mainstream media got slapped around and humiliated by a US President in ways that was never even dreamed of before. Of course, some will disagree with this view and did without fail: “This is not a laughing matter. I’m sorry delegitimizing the press is un-American.” NBC’s Chuck Todd (and delegitimising an elected President is not, eh? GMJ). “Mr. Trump’s presser was unhinged and wild.” CNN’s Jake Tapper (Really? It must be awkward to be called out in public as a fake news, excuse me, very fake news channel, by an elected commander-in-chief, GMJ), and so we can carry on, enjoying the cries of anguish and bogus righteousness coming from those feeding the public mushrooms for so long.
Yes, they had it coming, no doubt, I recall the New York Times journalist Denise Grady, supposed to be a great paper (perhaps before 1972, Angelique) writing the following crap about Barack Obama on his 50th birthday: “His brow is mostly smooth, his chin firm, his neck taut.” You should laugh at such cringeworthy fawning, is that news? Another reporter in 2017, after Mr Trump referred to the mainstream liars, sorry journalists, as the enemy of the American people: “The language that Mr. Trump deployed on Friday is more typically used by leaders to refer to hostile foreign governments or subversive organizations. It also echoed the language of autocrats who seek to minimize dissent.” Yeah, you have no idea what hostile governments do to reporters like you, come to Africa and wake up, you live in the land of freedom and prosperity. Even Barack Obama warned them: “What I’m concerned about is the degree to which reporting and information starts emphasizing the spectacle and the circus, because that’s not something we can afford in this election cycle. The American people, they’ve got good judgment, they’ve got good instincts - as long as they get good information. But, most importantly, and I speak to all of you in this room as reporters… I want to emphasize the degree to which we are in serious times and this is a really serious job. This is not entertainment. This is not a reality show. This is a contest for the Presidency of the United States… Every candidate, every nominee needs to be subject to exacting standards and genuine scrutiny. You have got to make sure that their budgets add up, if the way they’ve got an answer to a problem is actually plausible, that they Donald Trump have details for how it would work. And, if it’s completely implausible and would not work, that needs to be reported on. The American people need to know that. If they take a position on international issues that could threaten war, or has the potential of upending our critical relationships with other countries, or would potentially break the financial system, that needs to be reported on.”
Mr Obama made the above comments on May 6, 2016, about Donald Trump before he even became the front runner (supposedly he never was the front runner, Hilarious was going to win by a landslide according to the mainstream deceivers, oops, Angelique). He was telling the mainstream media to get their act sorted. History shows us that they did not. They went as far as being 90% plus negative towards the Republican Candidate, they could not help themselves in attacking everything he said or did, their bias so openly displayed that they became a serious embarrassment for the rest of the world, looking in. They did not, for instance, report nor show the pitifully small crowds wherever Hilarious Clinton spoke, they used camera angles to hide that fact. That should have been a warning sign and when anyone corrected them, asking them to report fairly, they responded haughtily by calling the other side “fake” news. When America decided at the voting pole that Donald Trump will be the next US President, they cried, really, they were showing the world what snowflakes they are, on national television too. They just could not stick a hand out and say “Good luck, Mr President!” No, they had to and continued unabated to deride, mock and disparage a man that did a lot of good since he took over.
It is a simple personality trait you learn in any Military and should have learned at your father’s knee before that. If you are wrong, in anything in life, man up and learn a lesson. Don’t keep on bumping your head and annoying those that feel differently - you can disagree without nastiness, a harsh word will get one back, unless willing to die, that is seldom the right road to take. Sadly, the worst critique after the Melbourne, Florida, rally, was against the First Lady, Melania Trump. Her “crime?” She started the meeting as follows: “Thank you. Let us pray. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed is your name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespasses against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.” Yes, the Lord’s Prayer and immediately the hate started coming on Twitter and everywhere else. I am not bothering to repeat it here because it is unworthy, the snowflakes went into overdrive to denounce, to ridicule and to show the world how proud they are to be atheists, non-believers and whatever else they are which is nothing to admire. I have a message for such people, not that they will read my books, but anyway: “Say slowly after me, President Donald J Trump!” Repeat that as many times as possible and perhaps you will grow up and become less ridiculous.
Now the way the US Government operates is mysterious to most outsiders and that, according to most GMJ readers includes everyone outside Washington. It seems that all US Presidents are undercut by bureaucrats and it is not a new phenomenon either. Harry Truman once said about Dwight Eisenhower: “He’ll sit here, and he’ll say, ‘Do this! Do that!’ And nothing will happen. Poor Ike - it won’t be a bit like the Army.” How far does that go before it becomes treason? What do you think the rest of the world thinks when we hear that the US Intelligence Agencies are withholding intelligence from the President because they play partisan politics? Can you blame us if we feel contempt and walk away, declaring neutrality until you get your act sorted out? You cannot, I have been saying this repeatedly in many GMJ Books and those under my real name, afford neutrality when hunting terrorists. And by the way, Donald Trump is not ineffective nor scared of making decisions what should have been made decades ago already, he showed more leadership in one month that what was shown since Mr Reagan retired. Let me explain, again for historical accuracy. The first thing he did was to tell the NATO countries to get their act sorted: “No longer can the American taxpayer carry a disproportionate share of the defence of Western values. Americans cannot care more for your children’s security than you do. Disregard for military readiness demonstrates a lack of respect for ourselves, for the alliance and for the freedoms we inherited, which are now clearly threatened.” General Mattis, Secretary of Defence, 2017. This was immediately denounced by Angela Merkel, German Chancellor. She stated a bit arrogantly even for a German, that she will only start spending more money on defence in 2024 or somewhere in the distant future. In other words, let the US Taxpayer, that terribly abused fellow, pay for Germany’s defence as they always did since 1945. It is pathetic. I must wonder, what can possibly be wrong with expecting another country to start taking their security seriously, why should America carry them? It is completely insane and the warning to wake up and take responsibility long overdue. Yet, the mainstream media saw this as “abandonment” of Europe and US values, they need psychological help, desperately.
And then there was the so called “Muslim Ban” which was put in place to prevent terrorist attacks on US soil, a genuine and significant threat. Judge James L Robart asked: “How many arrests have there been of foreign nationals for those seven countries since 9/11?” The answer is: “At least 72 convicted terrorists came from the seven countries President Trump targeted in his extreme vetting executive order.” But sadly, the Justice Department lawyers did not know, why not, I wonder? Who briefed the lawyers so badly that they looked like losers? Do you know, that according to the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), no less than 30 of those mentioned above served more than 3 years for terrorism-related crimes. Do you know, that ISIS and Al-Qaeda many times said that they will abuse the refugee program to get terrorists into America and other Western Countries? Even Colonel Gadhafi warned as did Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian leader as I explained in the GMJ Books. What more evidence do you need? If Donald Trump fail to protect US citizens, all of them, he will be taken on and rightly so. And yet, the snowflakes saw the court victory as a reason for much celebration, teary eyed Hollywood stars once again made fools of themselves by declaring “resistance” and God knows what other foolishness. For us on the outside, the outcry and subsequent leaks that brought General Michael Flynn to a fall as National Security Advisor, said a lot. It showed us enough to wonder if it is worth our efforts to help the US in her War on Terror. The liberals and mainstream liars cost the US many friends and allies during the last few years. Americans will die in the future because of this, have no doubt.
Taken from the forthcoming GMJ Novel, Code Name Ghost, not edited:
On the other hand, Spetsnatz do not have the same regard for civilian lives as NATO and the US Military claim they have and most certainly don’t when you look a bit deeper than just face value. What I have to say now, may shock you but research it before writing me angry letters. The US drone strikes under Barack Obama failed miserably. They missed their intended terrorist targets, 96.5% of the time according to several (reliable) NGOs and thereby killing many hundreds, yes almost a thousand, of innocents, this is not even debatable, US officials admits that civilian casualties took place. (The US official figures, to be fair, is 6 times less than what the NGOs are saying but it is also known that under the Obama Administration, drone strikes took place 563 times in Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen - the Bush Administration had 57 such strikes, almost 10 times less. It is said that between 384 to 807 civilians died because of Obama’s “surgical strike” drone policy, murdered under international law, Angelique.) There is no way that it can be defended, no way, it is murder, plain and simple. What is worse to me, when you speak to any US Military member, even from their Special Forces community, they have no clue on fire discipline or the double tap method of shooting which we use as standard (it was first used by the British Special Air Service in the 1970s when they became interested in counter terrorism, hostage rescues. They realised that a 9 mm Parabellum round is crap, it does not kill fast enough in standard form and adjusted by adding Special Forces ammunition - nice hollow points - and shooting two rounds so fast it sounds like one shot. We did the same, even on our assault rifles and to me, it is the mark of a professional. Full automatic fire is to me the mark of ill-discipline and of run of the mill soldiers not worthy of Special Forces where you often carry the ammunition to and from the target without guaranteed resupply. During Vietnam, at one stage, it took 250,000 rounds to obtain one kill. We never used more than 20 rounds and a body without a rifle meant being arrested for murder. And that was the normal police, for us, in Police Special Forces, one bullet one hit meant exactly that and we expected death on the other side when we opened up. Except for covering fire and the first few crazy seconds of an ambush, full automatic fire was a luxury we could not afford and look down upon, a body without an AK47 meant a murder arrest.) As far as I am concerned, my expert opinion based on facts, the US Military just don’t get saving ammunition as they are always resupplied because they always have air superiority, the helicopters and other transports can fly in relative safety to do the supply drops. But this is something most certainly not guaranteed anymore against any First World enemy (Russia & especially China) – shockingly, in 2017, no less than 60% of the US Navy’s F-18 Super Hornets are not operational, they are downed. In the US Marine Corps, 74% of their Hornets are downed, the Few & the Proud reduced to scrounging museum aircraft for spare parts. The USAF’s F-15s are in an even worse state and the “stealth fighters” cannot dog fight a 4.5 Generation jet fighter nor are they stealthy. Nor do the US aviators & pilots fly enough, read what I said in the intelligence briefing again and particularly what is going on with the Chinese Air Force and Taiwan. The list goes on and on and you would do very well to read Code Name Blue Tang in this regard (as well as to study the Roosevelt-Dreadnought Principle explained in Code Name Lucy, you will be shocked, Angelique).
US Special Forces, highly trained and respected, are used wrongly, mostly, as walking bait and then having to use the massive firepower available to get themselves out of trouble again and again and again. By doing this they are losing men at a rate that cannot be sustained. We discussed this bizarre aspect in many GMJ Books, ruffling a few feathers here and there. To us, such tactics is akin to attempted murder by their Generals, totally wrong. I am at times criticised for my remarks but statics show clearly that most US Special Forces members would fail our Selection criteria, they will not make it to our standards to put it bluntly. Statistically the US Navy SEALS have a Selection failure rate of about 80%, the US Army Green Berets, 60%. We consider any unit with less than a 90% failure rate as low percentage and not good enough to work with unless we have to. We can also look at the damage done after an attack or raid took place and being experienced policemen, knowing violent crime scenes more than most, make a lot of deductions on what occurred during the attack. If I see hundreds of spent brass cartridges lying around after a Special Forces raid, find many dead civilian casualties not on the target list, bullet holes everywhere and too often, way too often, the burned-out wrecks of Special Forces helicopters & aircraft destroyed by their own side because the pilots are incompetent, unable to land safely in the dark in sandy conditions (see Code Name Halloween 38 where we discussed the appalling loss of helicopters by accidents in Afghanistan and Iraq, Angelique), I will shake my head in disgust at what I see. Simply put, not good enough and I will never change my views on this. If you did your job properly there would be no civilian casualties nor any aircraft wrecks nor hundreds of shots fired during the attack, that is not the Special Forces way of doing business, full stop.
The above has serious consequences in the War on Terror, let me explain. You try to play the “good-guys-that-do-no-wrong-ever” in the media and by doing so, lose the moral high ground because it is simply not true and probably never was true. The world and your enemies laugh at you, a terrible price to pay in the long run as scepticism grows rapidly on lies and cover-ups. As an example, there was a SEAL Team Six attack in Yemen in late January of 2017, a place where they fail more often than not and is not known to have much success if any. Independent (reliable & verified) reports from medics on the battle scene said that about 30 people died during the attack, including 10 women and children. Is this the new norm for success, to be gloated about by the Pentagon? One SEAL was killed and a couple wounded, it is highly regrettable and sad, but what about the innocents killed in the crossfire? How do you spin that one away? By releasing a years-old YouTube video on bombmaking? Really? By stating publicly that the raid was a total success when even a simpleton will know it was not? That you consider SEAL Team Six as the best America has to offer and the usual patriotic noises? Surely not. I assure you, that SEAL Team Leader would have been arrested here for murder on his return. His commanding officer removed immediately and a total restructuring of operational procedure started. The number of civilian casualties, the hundreds of bullet holes indicating wild panicked shooting, to me, and people like me, is failure no matter what else you achieved which seems to me was preciously little. By killing civilians, innocents, some were kids of less than 10 years of age, at that large a number in one raid, means that you just created many more martyrs for the cause against you, this is silly. It is displayed incompetence and arrogance gone mad and probably based upon bad intelligence as I heard that the mission was betrayed before it even started (denied by the Pentagon, obviously, Angelique). Dreadfully bad execution of whatever plan you had if any, and an utter disregard for counter terrorism techniques designed to limit civilian loss so that you claim the moral upper hand which is of extreme importance in counter terrorism. No, Sir, we are not impressed with what happened in Yemen in January 2017, it is pathetic and you should step back and take a hard look at your procedures before you lose even more face.
Now to show you how hypocritical and disingenuous the “we-are-the-good-guys” argument became in the eyes of the world, consider the following in a logical fashion – in 2016, some 60 members of the House, from both parties, signed a letter to delay a $1.15 billion sale of battle tanks (Abrams, not the best in the world by any margin and regularly shot out in the Middle East) to Saudi Arabia, stating the reasoning behind the delay is that the indiscriminate bombing campaign by the Saudis in Yemen is done so badly and killing so many civilians, that it is “feeding extremist narratives and strengthening al Qaeda and Islamic State.” The Senators involved were Republican Mike Lee of Utah and Rand Paul of Kentucky, working with Democrats Christopher Murphy of Connecticut and Al Franken of Minnesota. Right, you get the irony here? Do you get how stupid this look to those outside and looking in with perhaps more neutrality than you, when a SEAL Team Six raid does the same? Special Forces are supposed to be surgical strike capable, clearly identifying the targets and eliminating them, not murder kids and women at will.
You cannot afford civilian deaths during counter terrorism operations, you simply cannot. Look at history what happens when the security forces start killing innocents for any reason, the answer is obvious, you lose the sympathy and support from the public, your job gets that much harder and you lose the insurgency. I don’t want such cowboys near me. They have no fire discipline and is a danger to themselves and in no way should this type of behaviour be applauded by anyone in authority or even by those with the most basic knowledge of counter terrorism. Such a raid is a failure by our standards, something to be deeply ashamed about, there is no way it can be called a “total success.” The logical consequences will be a counter attack against the US Homeland by those already inside, justifying their actions because of the visual effect of kids’ corpses displayed on the Internet. This was not good enough for a respected premier counter terrorist unit, not even close, I say again, that is how you create new terrorists and lose the sympathy of those trying to help you.
George M James is a pseudo name for the author and used for security reasons and the safety of his family. He is an expert on counterterrorism and counterinsurgency operations in sub-Saharan Africa, a military historian and published author of 47 books. In the GMJ Series, you will learn about Covert Operations, Special Forces techniques, current political analyses and military history not known outside the select few. Because of the contents and startling disclosures inside GMJ Books, some authorities call them “dangerous fiction.” Yet, every GMJ Book is based on historical fact and often what is revealed in a GMJ Book is published by the mainstream media a short while later. Many of the GMJ Books are used as training material by Police Forces (SWAT) across the world. Each GMJ Book has a large element of the truth inside it, they are well researched. They are not only good reading material but also a warning against that what is not known to the public. The GMJ Books may very well change the way you look at counterterrorism and espionage for the better. George M James’s books, both under his real name and as GMJ, are widely read among military veterans of many nations, most find them very agreeable to their conservative views.
